About VentureIT.ca

We are a small, local, IT services company that is dedicated to providing a first rate customer service experience.

We have over 10 years of IT support experience in a wide range of environments from large, heavy industry, to smaller professional offices, to film industry clients, to private homes.

Our main technician is also one of the business partners/owners – Dave Malar. You can find out more about him on a personal level or check out his professional background via his web portal site at http://malar.ca.

Our strengths are:
  • Being well-rounded enough (“jack of all trade” style!) to be able to help with everything from managing larger projects such as business relocations and company mergers, to planning and implementing networks and server systems, to taking care of a home user’s wireless internet setup or virus problem,
  • Having the experience to be able to make recommendations on technologies and processes to make your business run most efficiently,
  • Having strong working partnerships with expert sub-contractors for specialized work in cabling (Ethernet and fiber optics), electrical installations, telephony and building security systems, and complex “Web 2.0” programming,
  • Being small enough to provide personal, friendly, professional service to all our customers.
Because we are a small, family-run business, we are very dedicated to responding quickly to our customers and doing whatever it takes to make them happy.

That was our home and base of operations for the last 5 years - we lived aboard year-round and operated our businesses onboard ship up until the winter of 2009/2010.
